Family Feasts
 
New for summer 2008 we are pleased to offer you our Family Feasts dining option. After a long day travelling or sightseeing, tuck into a family feast menu, or lighter, less formal dining option specifically designed for families. We can provide your family feast for a cost of 12€ per adult and €8 per child under 12.
 
When you book your accommodation you choose a main course from the options below and we serve it to you in a large help yourself pot accompanied with a large bowl of fresh salad and a choice of crusty bread or garlic bread for all (unless otherwise stated)  You can then follow your main course with our dessert of the day or a selection of ice cream. A glass of house wine, small beer or soft drink is included per person.
 
 
 
 
 
Family feast menus

Please choose one selection per party from the following options:-
 
Spaghetti bolognese
Our home made tomato and mincemeat sauce (using our fresh tomatoes from the garden and fresh herbs) served on a bed of spaghetti or pasta shapes with a sprinkling of fresh parmesan to taste. Served with salad and garlic/crusty bread.
 
Fish pie
Succulent pieces of white fish, salmon and king prawns, served on a bed of spinach with boiled egg and topped with a creamy cheese sauce and
mashed potatoes. Served with salad and garlic/crusty bread.

Chilli con carne
Best quality mincemeat, tomatoes, kidney beans and spies made into a delicious medium spiced home made chilli con carne.
Served with a large bowl of basmati rice and garlic/crusty bread.
 
 
L'Oiseliere vegetable pasta special
Our home made special vegetable pasta sauce using a selection of fresh vegetables from our kitchen garden served on either spaghetti or pasta shpes with a sprinkling of fresh parmesan to taste. Served with salad and garlic/crusty  bread.

Lasagne
Our delicious bolognese sauce as above, layered with lasagne sheets and cheese sauce and baked in the oven until golden on top.
 Served with salad and garlic/crusty bread.
 

Meat and potato pie
Tender pieces of braising steak, potoates and carrots slow cooked in a rich beef gravy and topped with shortcrust pastry.
Served with mushy peas, red cabbage and crusty/garlic bread

All above can be served with a large bowl of home made chips for a 5€ supplement.
